Default Some users not seeing layout changes

I made a change to a list view in leads. I saved and deployed it. Now I have some users that see it and some that don't. I have logged into sugar using the user's name and password on different computers and I get the same results. I also did a repair in sugar several times.

    Any suggestions?

List views can be configured on a per-user basis, and the user's configuration overrides (while working in conjunction with) the global setting. On the list view with an affected user, open the Advanced Search and check out the Layout Options. I bet there are a lot of hidden columns and not a lot of displayed columns.

So to do away with this, click Clear, then Search again. Even though it doesn't look like Clear did anything, it actually resets the Layout Options to the default value - at least it's looking like it does that on my 6.2 Pro demo system I'm playing with. If that fails, you can try the Reset User Preferences on the User's detail view. This resets everything, including list view configurations but also including mail settings and the like.

If that's less than ideal and you have access to your database directly, you can try to isolate the records in the user_prefernces table in your database. They'll have a somewhat readable setting name, an indecipherable value and an assigned user_id that matches the user's affected - just delete those records or set them to deleted=1.

Hope that helps, let me know if that's not the case.

Other easy solution from user point of view is open the user records of the users which don't see the changes and click in the action "Reset Preferences". It always works and the user start to see the fresh layout.
