Sort by fields when viewing lists (contacts,leads, opps etc)

Hi,

I have the community version & I can't sort lists into alpha/numerical order. Does anyone know why? Some developers we are paying have told us that it is a debugging issue with the version we are running & it will take them 8 hours to carry out the debugging.

Is this reasonable, can I do this myself? Any help would be appreciated...

Can you clarify your issue?
What fields are you talking about? What is the type of these fields?
Let us know which ones you want to sort alphabetically or numerically.
