    Default SSL problem with SMTP

    Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages: error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol in htdocs/include/phpmailer/class.smtp.php on line 104

    I have SSL enabled in PHP. Any ideas?

    Check your port; I had mine on 25 when it should have been 465, and I got the same error.
