Default Are standard drop down changes saved on Upgrade?

Basically I think the answer is no or doesn't seem to be.

Anybody know for sure? Should I just create a new dropdown and get rid fo the standard one even though its providing the same info?

Anyone else think this is a bug?

    Thanks for your thoughts,
    Paris

In my installation the customized standard dropdowns are still customized, after upgrading stepwise from 5.0a-d

Looks like mine managed to lose a bunch of stuff. I suspect based on further investigation that it was probably my error.

I'm editting the /custopm/include/language/en_us.lang.php file now to correct the errors.

    thanks Paris
