Still dont understand difference user-employee

Hello, I have read this explanation: http://kb.sugarcrm.com/uncategorized...ees-and-users/, but I still can not understand how can I use an employee who can not log into the CRM.
What case can be usefull to have some employees without access to the application in?

I can only guess a situation about a manager controls a sales team, or a non cualified workers team, for example.

Can someone give me a light?

Think of an internal address directory. There are fairly large organisations out there who still maintain phone directories on paper.

Where I worked in the past we had thousands of employees. It was not necessary for each of those employees to have access as a user to our CRM but we needed the employees to be in the database so that we could assign them to clients and/or opportunities.

Think of it as the President of the company could be assigned to a client, but he or she would never actually go into the CRM to do any work.

AUser enters data or performs tasks in the CRM

Employee can be assigned to a client or a tasks but does not need to use the CRM in his or her day to day work.

I´m testing SugarCRM in a small company and I have not manage the posibilities you have mentioned.
