Still pending problems 5.0b

Failure adding to targetlist from campaign status page, and problem with email template:
If there are embeded images or links (to same website) in the template, saving the template inserts <base src= > tag into the template and rewrites all URLs relative to it. That would be fine, except many mail-clients remove <base > and other tags. Therefore, those links are broken. Is there a way to disable or fix this without having to hunt it down in the database and edit the blob?

I'm having the same issue. One of our clients is wants to begin an email campaign but the links and images are not working due to the relative url that is used.

How can we get around this?

Work around tested successfully

I've just verified this Version 5.0.0b (Build 3150) Community Edition

If your site is http://www.mysite.com then use http://mysite.com for all your images and links in the email templates. These are not converted to relative links like ../image.gif

Has anybody filed a bug for this yet? Should be a quick/easy fix for the engineering team.
