    Default Stop connecting to sugarcrm.com

    Hi,

I assume that each time clicking on Admin->Module Loader, sugar connects to sugarcrm.com for receiving the license and terms text (or anything else I'm not aware of). Because there are days that the combination of slow connection to sugarcrm.com and repeating installing/uninstalling of modules being developed is rather annoying, I would be grateful if someone can point me to the code section that I can comment out for stop connecting to sugarcrm.com. Thank you

    SugarCRM 4.5.1
    Windows XP Pro
    Apache Server 2.2.3
    MySQL 5.0.27
    PHP 5.2.0

    Hi John:

I am not too sure whether SugarCRM contacts www.sugarcrm.com website as and when you are using.
However SugarCRM has two options for sending your usage statistics to SugarCRM and Automatically checking for updates.
These options are 1. Send Anonymous Usage Statistics and 2. Automatically Check for Updates.

These two are set at the time of installation. You can un set them so that your installation does not interact with Sugar Website.

Go to Admin and Click on Sugar Updates.
Once you go there un check both the options and save.

I am not too sure whether SugarCRM installation interacts with SugarCRM clandestinely other than this.

    Hi Ram,

Thanks for the reply. I have already unset these 2 options you refer in Admin->Sugar Updates section. I was referring to the Admin->Module Loader section. It seems that because this section loads rather slowly (and not constantly in subsequent loads), sugar tries to connect to a website (assuming sugarcrm.com).
