Strange list poblem

Hi

I am running Windows Vista with Internet Explorer 8 on a Dell desktop computer. On this computer have I created two users,, user1 has administrator rights and user2 is a normal user.

A second computer, windows XP, contains SugarCRM installed as a fast track install with apache and Mysql.

User1 and User2 have created a lot of leads, complete with names and phone numbers.

The problem is,,, user2 can not see the phone numbers when listing them in the "leads" page. They are visible for a short while,,, and then they are blanked. User1 don't have this problem.

If user one, clicks on the Edit button,,, then the phone numbers are visible.

Can anyone help me with this,,,, is there a setting I must adjust?

That's beyond strange. Try going to User2's MyAccount >> reset Default preferences button

I've done that,, no differnce.

Another observation. It seems like if user2,,, uses user1 account on Vista,, it works well. Seems to be connected to Vista?????

I have the same problem. It appears when using Internet Explorer 8 (8.0.6001.18783)
and it does not using Chrome for instance. ( OS is Vista Business 32bit)
To reproduce

Create an account: fill in a mobile number
Save and you will notice that the number appears and all of sudden looks overwritten or deleted.
When going back to edit (that account) then this number is still present.

Doing some test have I noticed that the problem occurs when digits like dashes and '+'s are present.
Restricting numbers to numbers only seems to avoid the problem

example: +85292385555 does not appear while 85292385555 does


BTW: in the source of the page one notices the complete number ( all signs) even when it does not appears.
So there it appears as:

It seems like the symptom is same, phone numbers disappears. I've checked with "+" in numbers, but they seems not to affect me. My configuration is same as yours (vista, explorer 8).
