Studio in 4.5.0c behaving unconsistently

Hi,

I started using SugarCRM with version 4.5.0. I´ve now upgraded when adviced to so and now running 4.5.0c.

We are building a 10 user system and after pilot face probably will move to professional edition. But I have to get this up and running with opensource edition first...

It is crucial for us to be able to change the layout and data fields in leads, accounts and opportunities. But when I try to use studio to change the account layout, it acts very unconsistently. Sometimes you can make a change and after pushing "save and publish" you really can see the changes. This however happens very rarely. Usually the outcom isn't even near what i just had done. So some fields ("Assignd To", "Type", ...) dissapear and some fields change places. After using studio for about an hour, you still don't have the layout you need. A bit frustrating because if it would work, this would be a 5 minute job.

I tried to search these forums for similar problems and I belive I'm not alone here. Is there anyone that actually can use Studio to change account layout without any problems?

Any advice on this?

I had issues as well. Studio defiantly has problems. I was not even able to change Edit View or Search View, currently I am trying to upgrade to 4.5.0c, but I am getting the damn error message:

Specified directory '' for zip file extraction does not exist.

Getting quite annoyed. These forums are great, but sometimes super hard to find a quick fix or answer.

Hi,

I have know managed to do some editing! I disabled cache in my browser and after each "save and publish" i reload (F5) studio. This way it works and mayby 90% of my editing is now done!

But I havn't been able to add any "Assigned to" fields to accounts, opportunities or leads. Any ideas on this?
