Studio 4.5.0f - Newly created fields not being displayed initially

Hi,

When adding a new field in the studio component after creating the field it is not initially visible in the list on the left (just a line is shown).

After restarting the Studio component, the value is them viewable and can be placed correctly

This problem seems to be browser independent, whether IE7. Firefox 1.5 or 2.0. Same problem in a windows & Linux environment.

Anybody else having the same problem?

This has something to do with template caching. It should clear out in about 15 min. and then you will see it.

If this is the problem which I am not sure about, waiting 15 mins seems very impractial to say the least.

If I restart the Studio component in the same browser it then works.

Additionally I don't believe we had the same problem with the intial version of 4.5x

I will address this caching issue in G with a few other changes. Thank you for bringing this issue up.
