Studio and Dropdown editor not displaying results

I just installed SugarCRM CE 5.0.0c and have it configured with MS SQL 2000 and IIS6 on Win2003 server. I can add new contacts, users, etc..., so it seems the installation was good. However, when I try to use the Studio under developer tools, I can't see anything for me to edit or modify. The page finishes loading without returning any error and I see the 3 panels - Modules, Edit, and Help.

Here's what I did:

1. Admin >> Studio
2. I see 3 panels with content, Module / Studio / Help
3. Click on any module (ALL modules produce the same result), Accounts for example
4. Middle panel changes to Edit Accounts with 4 icons (Labels, Fields, Layouts, Subpanels)
5. Click on Labels or Fields
6. See red words "Loading..." and then "Done" on top of page, but NOTHING HAPPENS. I'm still seeing the same thing as before the click.

Same thing for Dropdown Editor
1. Admin >> Dropdown Editor
2. I see 3 panels with content, Dropdowns / Main / Help (3 tabs - Properties, Dropdown Editor, Help)
3. Click on any dropdown (ALL dropdowns produce the same result), account_type_dom for example
4. See red words "Loading..." and then "Done" on top of page, but NOTHING HAPPENS. I'm still seeing the same thing as before the click.
5. No content under Main Panel and no content under any of the tabs (help, dropdown editor, or properties)

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong or how to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.

Is it a clean installation?
Are you sure all the files under sugar folder are writable?

Yes, it's a clean install and I've given "Full Control" to the SugarCRM directory and all sub-directories for IUSR_XXX user.

Seems to be a problem of the browser. Is it the iE with additional security, as win2003 server installs?
Try firefox, do you have the same results?

hi,

i had the same problem. i thought was a sugar problem but then i discovered that my norton internet security's ad blocking was what was disabling it. I simply added my site to my trusted sites and alls working well.
