Studio Dropdowns not saving

So we installed Sugar CRM 5.0d out of the box. We need to do some modifications to the dropdown lists. When I go to dropdown editor and select the case_priority_dom, add a field and hit save the values are not getting saved when I open case_priority_dom again. We suspect its a permissions issue, because when i manually went in and edited the en_us.lang.php file those changes have appeared in dropdown.

Hi,

The apache user probably doesn't have write access. Try settting all files to 777 with chmod 777 -R sugarcrm where sugarcrm is the name of your instance.
