This is the problem first described by logicase:

When I'm in Admin - Studio and then click on an item, let's say "Accounts" then when I click on an item under either Layouts or subpanels, that item doesn't show up. So when I want to edit the Detail View, all it says is loading ..... Done. Without showing the edit view.

It's a clean 5.1.0b CE installation, running on Apache

I have the same syptoms on my 5.1.0c CE install on Windows XP:

SugarCRM CE 5.1.0c (Build 4979)
Apache 2.2.8
MySQL 5.0.51a
PHP 5.2.5
