In Studio nothing shows up

Hi,

I've got some problems with Sugar.
Being in Studio with the admin panel, nothing shows up.
I can click on everything, fields, views, searches etc. but absolutely nothing.

What do I need to do?
It's a fresh installation, imported database and custom folder from an existing installation and I repaired the links and did a repairSelectModule
Now it doesn't work anymore
The problem appears in English and in German.

Can you please help me.

Hi Chris

If you are able test it in FF, install the addon Firebug, enable it and enable console, script and network.
Try to access again the Studio page and check if Firebug warn some error message at bottom right corner.
Let us know the error.

By the way, did you install any package, customize anything on your system?

Check the error log of the webserver.

A blank (or partially blank) browser window in Sugar is mostly due to fatal PHP errors which are logged in the webserver error log.
The fatal PHP errors are often caused by syntax errors or file permission issues (make sure the webserver user has rw-permission to all folders in the instance)

I had the same problem and it turned out that the cause was a language file xx_xx.lang.php had been saved as UTF8 with Byte-order mark (BOM).
The solution in that case is to convert the file to UTF8 without BOM (that is remove the BOM-characters)
