Studio Problem - Account Detail View displays Contact fields

Hi,

I am facing a serious problem: Studio is displaying the fields of Contacts in Account Detail View.

Step-by-step:
1.) I added a new field to Accounts - no problem
2.) I added the new field to the Edit Layout View - no problem
3.) I attempted to add the new field to the Detail Layout View, but all I can see are the fields of the Contact Module, not the Account Module.

Please find attached the screenshot.

I am running 5.2.0e on Linux.

Are you able to reproduce this issue using another user with admin privileges?

Hi,

yes it is exactly the same with another user. The strange thing is that I can see all the Account fields on the left.

Any suggestion?

I had a problem like this in projects where it was showing unrelated fields.

I dont know what caused it, but i removed all the fields and put them back again the the sudio. I took the incorrect ones out. Saved. And them put the correct ones in again and saved.

I would think that the detailviewdefs.php file has become corrupted with fields from contacts. Have a look at the different layouts you have via the 'history' button to see if it can be rescued from there.

To restore the default form layouts:

1. In the custom/modules/{module_name}/metadata directory, delete or rename the custom layout files (i.e., editviewdefs.php).
2. From the Admin Panel, select the "Repair" link and then select the "Quick Repair and Rebuild" link. Select the modules, or all modules, to repair, ensure that "Clear Vardefs" is checked, and click on the "Repair" button.
