    Default Subpanels disappeared

    Hey all,

Don't know what to do about this, but we've been successfully using Sugar CE 5.1.0a for about 2 months, and haven't had a problem - until today.

For whatever reason (and I've gone through EVERY setting I can think of) the subpanels are not showing up in ANY of the Projects, or Cases, and they were there last week. Only myself and one other person have Admin rights, and niether of us made ANY settings changes in the last 2 weeks.

Now when we go to one of our Projects or Cases to see what Contacts, Activities, History, Notes, etc. that are associated with them, it's not that there's no info listed in the subpanels, even though we've added some, there are no subpanels even listed/showing . They're just gone.

If anyone has ANY ideas as to why, let alone a fix, it would be most appreciated.

Usually subpanels will disappear when either a role has defined that subpanel module has disabled or when a module tab is defined as being hidden. Hopefully that'll give you a place to start looking. Also check Studio to see if those subpanels are still there. If you still have issues check your custom\modules\MODULENAME\Ext\Layoutdefs\layoutdef s.ext.php for weirdness.

    Hi Falcon

I don´t know why, but sometimes the user preference hid some subpanels.
Try to reset user preferences for a user whose subpanels had gone.

This isn't exactly my issue, but it is very similar and it should be logged somewhere.

We use Sugar 5.5.4 CE. All is generally well, and we have been testing Campaigns lately.

Our issue: After sending Campaign Emails, subpanels would disappear on the Detail View of any Contacts that received the correspondence.

After troubleshooting in Dev Mode w/ Stack Trace, we found a PHP Notice pointing to an "Undefined Index: test" in SugarBean.php on line 3251.

We inspected the emails table and found that there were emails with parent_id and parent_type fields, both with the value "test."

As it turns out, it seems these subpanels disappear after a Campaign email is sent to a Target List of type "Test."

Clicking "Delete Test Entries" brought the subpanels back.

NOTE: If the Campaign and/or Target List are deleted, you must go back into the database and change the value of the deleted field to 1 in those emails with the parent_id = test.
