Subscribe Contact to Newsletter

I'm a SugarCRM Pro v5.2 user.

Right now, it seems as if the only way to subscribe a Contact to a newsletter is to go to the Newsletter campaign/Email contact and do it there.

It sure would be faster if I could add a Contact to a Campaign/List via the Contact screen.

Is that possible?

Or am I missing something?

Is there an easier way to add someone to a campaign list (non-newsletter)?

I think that's what threw me off last week, but thanks for the reminder about the newsletter (which is also what I put in the subject, so excellent response).

Out of the box, for non newsletter campaigns, your only option is to add the contact into the target list via the Campaign or via the target list. With Pro, if you have a report saved which filters and pulls all contacts that meet the criteria needed to be on the list, you can always go to the target list and click 'add from reports'. This would then pull any new contacts in the target list that meet the report filters.

this adds a dropdown choice list to the mass update panel on a contact listview. From there you can add people to any target list

Hmm,. I wonder if that is compatible with SugarCRM Pro v5.2 too? Looks AWESOME and fills the exact need I was mentioning.
