Substring Search within Search-fields??

Hi there,

is it possible to change the algorithm of searchfields in order to allow search for substrings?

Example:
Conmpany Name: ABC Associates
Entering "Associates" into a search field does not produce any result. Instead I have to start the search with exact "ABC ...".

As long as I know the detailed name of the company this does not cause any problem. However, with more than 2000 companies within CRM the search for a specific copmany becomes more and more often a nightmare.

Is there a way to change this mechanism or would it rather be a feature request?

Try using the follwoing format %Associates%, I think this will resolve your problem
