Sugar 101

Hey all, I apologize in advance if this is a well-worn topic, but search results didn't turn up much.

I'm brand new to Sugar and have been tasked with becoming the go-to guy with it due to my experience with some different programming languages and my website background.

I have learned some basics by playing around in the Admin area and tweaked a few menus/pages to do what we want. But I really haven't scratched the surface. I'd like a good starting point that covers things like:
- What can/can't be edited through the Admin function
- Where the actual files are located and how to get to them
- Programming rules for Sugar (if different than PHP)
- etc

Really I'd like a place to start at, and by the time I've read/watched them all I have a good understanding of just how Sugar works and how different components of Sugar interact. Right now it's all very vague to me. I considered buying the Sugar for Dummies book, but reading some of the reviews has me thinking that it is not really helpful for a completely new user (which kind of defeats the purpose of being a 'for Dummies' book).

Are there videos, tutorials, etc online somewhere? I've read through the forums quite a bit, but don't have the basic requisite knowledge to understand much of what is being talked about there.

I suggest you to learn the Developer Guide. This will introduce you several useful tips.
