SUGAR 5.3 CE will not get mail after the initial download

I am running PHP 64 and IIS 7 on a windows 2008 platform with 32 Gig of Ram. The email client sends mail flawlessly but when I ask it to check mail it will do the one time initial download and then not gather anymopre mail. I am using GMAIL. Any help would be greatly approceiated or please point me too a thread that helps thanks

To clarify: the system does not check at all or it doesn't check even though you pressed the check mail button? The latter seems strange if the initial download worked. An automatic check only works if the email client is open and the scheduler is set properly. God knows why it does not check with the client closed. It did until 5.1c I believe.

It will not check it at all. I tried the button and tried leaving it open with auto it styill does not grab new mail. I t is CE 5.2

Gmail is a bit tricky but if the initial download worked I am clueless. Did you test it with IMAP and POP3? I for instance have problems with one Gmail account where I have an extra long password. But again - here nothing works because it fails the test right at the beginning. Any luck with other email providers?

POP and IMAP works the same, initial download then nothing after that. The test screen works and validates on both IMAP and POP

Try to empty the cache of your browser. If you have any other machine available (or another browser) try it with this one. Looks like a js problem (the script is not invoked when you press the button). Happens every now and then.
