Yes, that functionality should be available to you.
It sounds like there might be a problem with the Studio module. It is pretty heavy on the Javascript, so it might be having a problem running some component and in turn causing the behavior you are seeing.
What browser are you using? Have you tried it via a different one other than the one you are using? A different computer?

Thanks Angel
I have tried in IE 8 and FireFox.
I have a 64 bit Vista Home edition so I don't know if that is the problem but basically there are no options displayed
Really appreciate your help
Nick
Could it be that your cache directory is not write-able or does not have the correct permissions ?
Thanks MRHRK but I did this and it did not work. Also I can up load any contacts using CVS files. When I try all the fields are mapped but when I hit the enter button nothing happens.
How can I tell if my installation has been installed correctly?
Thanks
The fact it is 64 bit should not have any bearing on it. Plenty of folks run it on that architecture without problem (at least none that can directly attributed to the architecture).
Do you have any anti-virus/spyware software running in the background? Try disabling it temporarily and check Studio to see if it alleviates the problem. If it does, try adjusting the script scanning options in your security software.
Secondly, it would help us if you could share details about your install, such as the version of PHP, database server, web server, etc.

Thanks Angel
I am running Sugar Version 5.2.0f (Build 5688) on a shared server hosted by integrity hosts.
I have MySQL.
Angel one of my friends helped me set this up and I will need to go and see him becasue I did got into trouble trying to install it myself. When I tried I had to get my server people to build an .htaccess file and put this in
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php .htm .html
Then it bombed out with this error.
The session.save_path setting in your php confiratation file (php.ini) non seset or is set to a folder which did not exist. You might need to set the save_path setting in php.ini overefy y that the folder sets in save_path exist.
This is because I am a shared server. So my friend took over the install.
I think the best thing is if I have a meeting with him and then get back to you guys.
Thanks very much for your help
Nick
