Sugar CRM Server crashed

Hi Everyone,

Major problem. Our server which was running sugar crashed. I have salvaged the web folders and the .sql file which was backed up nightly. It was running on Debian Linux. I have another PC on which I can install debian. I need guidance on how to transfer the .sql sugar database which is curently on a flash drive to the new PC and get the CRM back up and running.

Should be pretty straight forward.

Assuming you've got the supporting stack installed and configured, you should be able to do a restore of the database on the MySQL server by simply executing the SQL backup file.

You can then place your old system's htdocs/sugarcrm folder into the htdocs folder on the new install's web server install and it should fire right up.

Back up and running using a new debian box. I would now like to update this version which is very old 2.0.1 to the latest version. Can someone give me a roadmap how to do that. I'm having trouble finding the required files on the main website. Thank you.
