    Default Sugar email = SPAM

Individual emails sent by Sugar seem to be getting caught by Outlook and others as SPAM. I tried sending the identical message from myself to myself and it is not SPAM. However, when Sugar sends it - it's SPAM.

I'm just getting our entire sales force up on Sugar and it would be a really serious problem if we can't use Sugar Email. I've seen in threads from last year, and earlier verions, that this was a known problem. Has anyone figured out a way to either fix this problem or create a work around? Most people find email a necessary part of their workflow.

I am using Version 4.2.0d of Sugar Open. for the help.

I have exactly the same problem and have escalated it up the support ladder with Case # 8113

The problem is that once they get this sorted out, there seems to be a major problem with campaigns. You can follow the trail of dialog in this case #.

Search did not find case #8113. However, campigns are the least of their problems if they can't even have one simple email message delivered. Do you know if they have any timeline to resolving this problem. Personally, I think this is a CRITICAL problem. Outbound emails don't work. Are there any work arounds?

Actually, the more I was thinking about this problem I was wondering if anyone has out going email that even works. If so do you ever have problems getting email delivered?

Ive had no problems using it for my first campaign outbound mails (although its only <300) , i have used it for checking my mail periodially on the road and use it to send emails.

re: being marked as spam: one of my recipients is a friend and commented on the heavy html content and didnt like it. (what can you do?) but the point is I can see how heavy html may be flagged as spam.. dont know too much about that though.

I am working closely with Matt in support to have this problem resolved.

Problem is that I am in Sydney Australia so time zones mean each correspondence takes another day, then there are weekends.

So it is a slow process.

We have resorted to sending all emails out of Outlook for the meantime but that does not help campaign tracking.

btw - it seems support cases are private to the user lodging them.

Seems we giot an inconclusive solution.

At best it seems random - sometimes it goes into Junk and sometimes not.

I did however notice that by putting FW: at the beginning of the subject, it always goes into the inbox.

So that is my short term solution - put FW: in the subject for all my campaigns and continue to use Outlook for my email client.

Nope - FW: only works for regular emails, campaign emails still go to Spam with FW:

We plan to use Sugar for email campaigns. Is this SPAM issue resolved?

Sorry but if not... goodbye Sugar!
