Sugar Pro with CE in one organization

Hi!

There are two sales channels within my client's organization. For one's needs Sugar Pro is accurate, but for the second it doesn't make a sense to invest and Community Edition seems to be right. What is important, that they should see each others' clients database.

Do you have best practices or case within this area?

Nope .... don't think this is achievable without a LOT of effort ... why don't you just use Teams in Pro to segment the data?

Oh ... wait a minute ... could it be that it's proprietary licensed software and you'd have to pay an extra wodge for additional seats?

You are right, the second channel is mass but working on low margin, so it will be hard to persuade client to such investment.

This is not possible as it is a violation of the Sugar Professional license agreement.

Thanks Markku for response.

As I understand it is about ONE installation. From my side it is not a must. Because people from one channel have to see ONLY accounts from the other channel, without activities and other related info.

Any other ideas?

I believe any integration of database from a commercial license install to a CE license install is a license violation.

If you have a budgetary restriction, you might want to consider using CE, and then installing plugins or hiring a developer to help customize the system to add additional functionality that you need. We would certainly be more than happy to discuss these options with you.

I think best pracrice would be to connect both databases by an eai tool like Talend Open Studio to synchronize only that tabels that schould be shared.
