Sugar and Safari 3?

I get a lot of javascript errors with Safari 2.0.4.

Maybe one kind soul would try Sugar and Safari 3.0 (perhaps with Leopard).

In 2.0.4 everything works EXCEPT that you can't delete records (calls, accounts, contact, etc.) via the "mass" delete button. You get a cryptic javascript popup message. Example: You bring up a list of accounts or contacts (or whatever) tick the box on the left for one of them, and try the 'mass delete' button at bottom of screen and all you get it the popup message.... which goes into a loop if you keep clicking it's OK button).

SugarCRM does NOT list Safari as a supported browser, but I was wondering if maybe the Apple engineers might have 'fixed' something in the new Safari, Leopard, etc.

If anyone has some time to waste, perhaps they will give this a try? Link is above. Sign in as 'will' and 'will' (All data is test, is not mine, and you can do what you want with it. I think they reload it every day or so.)

I tried it for you, no errors, but Safari stops responding when trying to mass-delete. Mass-update however works.

I'm on leopard.
Firefox works normally ;-)

Thanks for the help. I was hoping that the new Safari would not have the same Javascript problems with Sugar that the old version does. It means I need to either just use FF ... or keep two browsers open all day (a waste of RAM).

I'm fairly technical. I'd love to know the part of the Javascript that Safari 2/3 chokes on... but which works in FF.

I use Safari most of the time with sugar. Not a lot of problems. When something doesn't work, I just switch to FF for the purpose... Not very handy, but better than keeping both open all the time...

BTW, I just tested again (to get the actual errors), and now it worked like a charm. Tested somewhat more extensive than the first time, still no problems. It might have been another problem.

I asked some folks on the Mac-L list to try Safari 3 on the Sugar demo and they say they had no problem doing a mass delete. It looks to me that the new Safari works OK... at least with the demo running on Sugar's server.
