Sugar showing wrong modified date on emails

Hi,
We're running SugarCRM under Apache and PHP on a Windows 2003 Server. When I send an e-mail out from Sugar it saves it as follows:



Emails
Wireless Broadband - Followup
Sent
Scott Reed
12/31/1969 02:00PM

What do I need to do to get that date to show correctly?

What's the date show on your database when you get the date or do a NOW() type function?
We've ran into issues where if we didn't have our SQL server time set to GMT, it was messing up the times due to the TimeZone Settings in sugar.

SELECT Today=GETDATE()

I get:
2007-05-24 14:34:36.957

Is that wrong?

Yes, server time is also fine.

Not sure if this of any consequence... but I just logged into the forum here to reply to this thread and I see the following text in the upper right corner of the page:

Since I wasn't even born yet, and my system clock is fine - I'd bet this bug is bigger than just your system!

I also have 4.5.1e professional edition and had this issue..... hoping someone from sugar will reply : )

Yes, server time is also fine.

Try changing your personal settings to be in YYYY-MM-DD format.
Then in config.php do the same .
try saving and see if this fixes it.
If yes then there might be issue with TimeDate or the way the values are being saved by the bean.
