sugar ver 6.0 issue. sub tabs not showing

Hello,

I have been using sugarcrm 5.5.1 till now but my client wants to get his sugar upgrade to ver.6.0. The issue i am facing is of custom modules that had created.
In sugar5.5.1 i created a module agent-comments under package agents so when i imported and configured tab, it showed tab besides home with a mouse over feature. but when i imported same module in sugar 6.0 i found that the package name `Agent` is not shown and only the module name `Agent-comments` is shown.
Now this is the problem coz i have many such modules under one package and in sugar6.0 they all will be shown in same tab level.

Can u guys plz help me out and tell me which are the files i need to change so i can get the same feature as ver.5.x used to provide it.

I haven't heard of this issue before with 6.0 upgrades. Could you post the module you've created so I can take a look at it?

Hello ,

i suppose the issue is not of custom odule but of the menu tab representation of sugar 6.0 . So have attached two snapshots 1) from the sugar 5.5.1 and 2) from sugar 6.0, to view the difference and state my point of issue. if u still think it is the custom module's code need to be pasted here i am willing to do it either.
version 5.5.1 ticket(module) is under agents(package). you can see that there is drop down of tickets.



this is from ver 6.0 you can see here the drop down menu tab is not present and it doesnt show my package name (i.e agents)


I have many modules so i need the drop down. can u please guide me into resolving this issue.

In 6.0, when we enhanced the navigation paradigm along with the user interface, we temporarily removed the Grouped Modules feature. In previous versions, the Grouped Modules feature allowed administrators to create groups for the module tabs, and have the module tabs appear in a submenu under these groups in the navigation bar.

When we created the new theme in 6.0, we needed more time to redesign how we present Grouped Modules in the navigation bar, with the new mouseover menus in place. We also needed more time to enhance the Grouped Modules feature to allow individual users to create groupings that make the most sense for them.

We are planning to re-introduced the enhanced Grouped Modules feature in the upcoming minor releases planned for the end of this year and the beginning of next year (6.1, 6.2). Please stay tuned.
