which sugar version??

i am trying to install Sugar 4.5.1d in my server, but its giving the following error:

Creating Sugar configuration file (config.php)

Creating Sugar application tables, audit tables, and relationship metadata...

Creating the database sugar on localhost...done
Creating the Database username and password...Creating the Database username and password for localhost...done
Could not connect to server localhost as sugar.Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

I cannot upgrade my mysql client due to several reasons. Can anyone suggest a different sugar version which would be compatible with it.

Make sure that PHP is configured to use the non "MySQLi" (note the i at the end) client. PHP5 will want to use the newer client by default and that seems to be a problem for Sugar.
