SugarCRM 3.0 Login issues

I hope some one can help me asap. I have been tasked my management to Test SugarCRM Open Source and need urgent help.

I have following setup:

SugarCRM 3.0
W2K
IIS 5.0
PHP 4.3.11 win32
MySQL 4.1.12 win32

Installation went find with minor issues which I found the fixes on this Forum.
I was able to login SugarCRM ok when we first required NT/HTTP Authentication through an ASP or PHP page with Dreamweaver extension for forcing a WIndows Authentication popup login.

Now we change to a PHP/MySQL based login script to login to a group defined page where we a link to SugarCRM and we are know longer able to login to SugarCRM. I tried every files and iis permissions and setting still not able to login.

My company does not want a NT Authentication popup. I need help in fiquring out the right permission or IIS setting for SugarCRM to work

I managed to get Sugar to login it was rights to the sessions folder.

Hello, to make this as short as possible: Im using LAMP in my servers and the workstations and other clients are diverse, using NT 98 xp fedora redhat mandrival and few others who are much paid than i am mac 0sx (they go mobile around the office) you name it but it seems that there is no problem like of yours, can you elaborate and will try to simulate it here, if we can find solution then we share it and good thing for us, another potential problem that need not to think about in the future thanks for the info hoping to hear you soon..
