Exclamation Sugarcrm 4.2.1b rpath VMware image - IMAP - Microsoft exchange

When I try to make the inbound mail work via IMAP I don't receive any email.

When I configure the email via USer Management - Inbound Email Settings and configure:
Mail server address "email adres of the server"
    Mail server protocol IMAP
    Mail server port 143
    Satus active
    Username "username"
    Password "password"

When I click on "Test Settings" I can select the Monitored Folder

All this works well but when I go to the emails TAB and goto My inbox and puch "Check My mail", no mail is received.
There are a lot of mails in that folder.

Have someone an idea what the problem is.

Are you configuring this under a single user, or are you trying to configure an inbound email folder using the link on the general admin tab? I have seen some of the issues you describe doing it as a general folder rather than as a single user.

Not sure if that will help or not...

    Under a single user.
Also when I want to change the user settings, the default folder 'INBOX' shows up and not the one that is selected before.
When you look under Inbound Email and select your personal inbox, the monitored folder is correct.

    Is this a bug.

The main problem is that I don't receive any mail.

I went ahead and tried this with the 4.2.1b and it definitely works for me- here are some thoughts-

The first time I did the configuration I forgot to go up and actually click save on the updated account profile so when I went to the "Email" tab I didn't even see the "Check Mail" button.

I used the adavanced expand option to select SSL since that is what my mail server expects.

I then selected 'Test Settings' and picked the mailbox I wanted to use from the list it gave me of availble mailboxes (and than I saved the profile, as mentioned above).

It did not work initially when I clicked 'Check Mail" under the Email table (under My Inbox) because there were no unread emails in that mailbox; once I went and marked some emails as unread it picked them up when I clicked "Check Mail" and they showed up in the Sugar inbox for my account.
