    Default Sugarcrm 5.2 and pop3

    Hi,
I have installed SUGARCRM 5.2 in my firm.
    We have pop3 email account...
I successfully configured the settings in Sugar....but the problem is that Sugar left a copy of the messages on the server, when it downloads new mails.

do you know how to setup to not left a copy email on the server ?

    thanks in advance.

When you import the message there is a checkbox that you can select that will delete the message for you after the import. Make sure you enable that next time you download/import a message.

    Yes I understand that...
but that's not my problem...I'd like Sugar delete the message on the server just after receiving the messages...

Other idea, is Sugar able to import emails automatically in the database ?

You can do it via Admin > Inbound Email > Monitor New Mail Account

Ok, I will try to use a correct 'english language', I receive my emails in Sugar Inbox with POP3 account.
When my emails are in Sugar Inbox, they stay in my remote account (my webmail host) until I decide to import or to delete....
The thing I want to do is to import directly in Sugar, without downloading in the Inbox.

    1. I don't believe there is a way of getting it to skip the Inbox, which, in my opinion, is a good idea. Without it, it would blindly download all your messages into the Sugar database, including any and all spam, viruses, etc. The idea of the inbox is that it allows you to preview the messages prior to importing them into the database, thus allowing you to delete or ignore garbage messages without them actually getting into your database.

    2. You don't need to choose an option there, but you do need to set the Group Folder option in order to automatically import messages via that feature.
