    Default SugarCRM 6.1 email not auto-associating with known Contacts

    Hi,

    In SugarCRM 4.5.1, received email automatically associated to known Contacts; in 5.1.0 this stopped. Now we've upgraded to 6.1.0, we want to look into this issue again.

    So how do we persuade SugarCRM to auto-associate with known Contacts?

    There is a broader issue at play here as that's not normal behavior. You'll need to do a bit of troubleshooting.

    Can you share the details of your environment? i.e. PHP version, SQL server/type, etc.

    Sure. SugarCRM 6.1.0CE on FreeBSD, PHP 5.2.14, MySQL 5.0.77. My boss doesn't recall when he upgraded SugarCRM 4.5.1 to 5.1.0, but it would have been around the same time we moved to our current hosting provider.
