SugarCRM 6.2.2 Import Contacts

Hello,

I am attempting to import contacts from another CRM system. I have the contacts exported to a CSV file and everything works fine except for the relationship between contacts and accounts.

I first imported the Accounts along with the previous' crm systems ID number for each Account. I then imported the contacts and made to sure to map the AccountID field to Sugar's AccountID field thereby creating the relationship I need. Everything imports successfully except I do not see any of the contacts under accounts and vice versa.

Upon further inspection, I looked at the accounts_contacts table and noticed the ContactID field is removing an underscore from the ID field and it is also changing some of the numbers. For example: I have a Contact in the CSV file called "John Smith" and the ID is zhc_001234343435. When looking at the Contacts table, the ID is shown correctly, however when looking at the accounts_contacts table the ContactID field shows zhc_99303535; completely different ID's...

Not sure what is going on here, anyone have any ideas??

Correct:

It seems when importing Accounts or Contacts, the import removes any underscores "_" and replaces it with "95" for ID columns.

Strange..

I just went through the CSV files and removed any underscores in any ID column and now everything works fine.
