SugarCRM community not properly installed on host server

Dear All

I have been using sugarcrm for few months on local computer with no problem. Today I tried installing version 6.1 on my host server so that a few more people can easily use it. The installation very perfectly well in a folder called "crm" on my public_html.

When I opened to login on http://pulego.co.za/crm/SugarCE-6_0_...Full-6.0.0RC1/, the login page looked deformed, I logged in and still the interface looked as if everything is just out of place, something went wrong somewhere.

Can anyone help me find where the problem is.

It'd be helpful if you shared a screenshot of what you mean, but I am assuming you mean that the graphics and formatting are not displaying.

Hi Angel

The problem is similar to the thread you gave a link of. I called our host company and they activated SSH and recommended that I get PuTTy telnet to run the commands. Since I am not that technically survey I need to get someone who can help with the commands so that I dont mess up stuff. Unless I can find some guide somewhere.

Since you have SSH access to your hosting account, all you need to do is cd to the crm folder and then type:

chmod -R 755 *

If you don't know how to do it, it would be best to ask you host to do it for you.

Hey guys thanks to Angel and d1m0 for your help, what you suggested worked perfectly. I read the user guide of PuTTY and few online places on how to run commands and in few minutes got the problem solved.
