SugarCRM Dies (blank page) After Modifying Admin >> Rename Tabs >> Save

Hello,

Version: SugarCE-Full-5.0.0e
PHP5, MySQL5, CentOS5

Fresh brand new install without a single error or warning:
Logging into SugaCRM as admin for the first time, setting the timezone
Clicking Admin >> Rename Tabs >> 'Contacts' to 'Clients' >> Save

After clicking save, everything breaks and everything is displayed with a blank page. When visiting http://hostname/ - I just get a blank page with the URL been: http://HOSTNAME/index.php?module=Users&action=Login

The whole system is just one white blank page.

Why on earth would this be happening?

Same here. This must be a bug. Version 5.1.

Hi all

Take a look at the sugarcrm.log in the root of the sugar folder and also take a look at the error_log from apache.
You could find some error message that would point to issue.

andopes, Thanks for the simple, direct instructions.

I found a parse error in my Apache log.

I have a 5.2f install, and after trying to rename one of my tabs, my /home/yadayada/public_html/crm/custom/include/language/en_us.lang.php consists of <?php , that's all, just those 5 characters or so.

I found that renaming the broken file clears this issue.

I followed the instructions in the Sugar Wiki at http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/index.p...sions_on_Linux , and updated the perms by SSH
But the problem persists, i.e. that file is created, but with the same issue.
