SugarCRM with Firefox 4

Hi all,

Has anyone tried SugarCRM with Firefox 4?

I'm having difficulties in the admin section with the newest Firefox. For example, in the Dropdown List Editor, where we can drag and drop the elements to order them, it doesn't work with Firefox 4. If you try to click the crayon to edit an element, and then you try to edit another one in the list, it does nothing. I also found that Save buttons all around the admin sections often doesn't work.

I observed all this on our SugarCRM Professionnal 6.1.2 instance plus the online demos of the 6.2 betas (all versions). It's the same thing on all computers with Firefox 4. With Chrome and Firefox 3.6, it works all good.

So it seams there is some javascript / ajax code in SugarCRM that is not working with Firefox 4.

Anyone can observe this as well?

EDIT: Problems seam to be gone in Firefox 5.

The problems related with yahoo YUI library that sugarcrm use.

Exactly the same problem with IE9

Will be the Sugar YUI library fixed in the future?
Because many of our SugarCRM clients are working with Firefox 4 and IE9.

As of version 6.1.5 and the current 6.2 beta, the problems in the admin section are still present.

Problem persist:
Version 6.2.0RC2 (Build 6331) using Firefox 4.0.1

Downloading Google Chrome in the meantime

Yep Seeing problems aswell.

Ie has some issues and Firefox also though in different sections.

Chrome appears to work 100%, anyone found issues with it?

I have noticed the same issues using the Firefox version shipped with Ubuntu 11.04. In admin section - it is impossible to edit fields or add custom fields in the accounts section. This problem may exist in other areas too, but I have not checked.

Using Chrome browser seems to work fine.
