Default SugarCRM ground to a halt

    Redora Core 8
    SugarProfessional Version 5.5.0 (Build 6653)
    Apache 2.2.9
    PHP 5.2.6
    MySQL 5.0.45

I've been adding accounts and I don't know if it's due to the number of accounts (327) but when I try to add another account, it just sits there indefinitely (I've left it up to 5 minutes) and the whole site locks up. I have to restart Apache to get the site to start working and it works fine until I try to save another account, other saves (i.e. after an edit of an existing account) seem to be working fine.

    Any clues?

More information: I discovered by trial and error that it's only when I set the assigned to field that it locks up. I subsequently discovered that it doesn't have to be a new account addition. So any time I change or set the assigned to field in an account the SugarCRM system locks up.

I would look at things like if any processes are taking up CPU time. Would also need to know more about the machine itself. 329 records is nothing so that can't be it. And there is nothing special about the assigned_to field either. It feels like stack but can't be sure.
