Default SugarCRM OS - client login Portal - maybe Mambo

I am looking to be able to provide my clients with a login area where they can see their own jobs underway and the time I'm logged on those jobs. Also just to update them, show them their progress etc.

I'd also like to run out a project task list with the number of hours on it. I thought I might be able to login with PHP to the mysql database and just run out a list under a protected directory or something to make them a report.

The Mambo integration looks like it will do this but it does not say if it will work for the latest release 4.2
Does anyone know if it will work with this release?

or are there any other solutions that will allow client login and restrict access to the single account.
I also don't see any user permissions that can be set to limit ones access to a particular account or project.
    Any ideas?

Thanks very much for your help, Sugar is a great program and beleive me - I've been through many of them.

    Hi Excess,

Look at this thread, we change from the portal service this week to implementing YashOffice with Netoffice. Tuesday or wednesday they will provide a update to netoffice 1.3.

    Thread:

    Yash-Netoffice

It works except 2 bugs, which will be solved soon. play arround, this will need a bit time, because its powerfull!!
    with best regards,

Thanks for the info. I was just over there looking at that. looking good.
But question: Does it work iwth 4.2?
Also, Do I have to install a new program and a module too? or just install netoffice and it recognizes Sugar?
    Thanks
