Hi,

I have here SugarCRM Pro 5.0.0h and I got problems on installing it
on my server.

I have:

PHP 5.2.10


Could it be that my PHP is not compatible??

Possibly, but without knowing exactly what you mean by experiencing problems, it is hard to say.

Does it work if you downgrade to PHP 5.2.9? Are you getting any errors? If so, what are they?

There was no error.

Its just the page is blank gray after the License Acceptance Page.

Usually that indicates that there is a problem with the session.save_path setting or the memory_limit setting is too low. Both are controlled via PHP.INI.

Hi,

Is it also possible that it would stop (blank gray page) during Sytem checking after License Agreement
and that MySQL is not running?

Or the install.php checks for running MySQL in the server and if it has found none, then it would
stop without any message (gray blank screen) ??

The MySQL part doesn't happen until later in the install process, so it is unlikely.

I am actually having similar issues with SugarCE 5.0.0h. There are a few threads that might help but I did note that if I started an install, it ran the check, it then said i needed to change some stuff, i made the changes, redid the check, and i would get the ubiquitous upgrade_history error. I would alter some more positions and hit f5 and get a grey screen. It might be a cache issue. the only way i have found to fix that is remove the entire directory and start over. It also may be the user you are installing it under. From what I have read, and i could be wrong, it only runs under the apacher (or whatever your server is) server group. Sadly if you are not root this can cause issues if you run into problems so you need a patient admin to work with you.

these aren't all precisely related but they all point out some issuses not stated int he install manual that you might be running across.

Please let us know what you find out if yuo do manage to get it working so we can have some kind of worklog for what yuo did and what worked for you. My office uses 5.0.0b CE but i can't even find that. Only h.
