    Default SugarMini Server Installation Error

Our company is trying to adopt SugarCRM and get rid of Goldmine, so I am trying out the Sugar Open Source version to see if it is feasible.

At the moment I am trying out the mobile component. I have downloaded the SugarMini app. I followed the instructions for installing the server side of the app, but I have run into some problems. When I try to check the status of the SugarMini Server, it comes up with

    HTTP Status 404 - /sugarmini/server
    type Status report
    message /sugarmini/server
description The requested resource (sugarmini/server) is not available

    This is the log report:

    Starting SugarMini server.
    Endpoint is http://192.168.16.47/sugarcrm/soap.php
    Starting database connection at jdbc://192.168.16.47/sugarcrm
Cannot connect to the database server. Details:No suitable driver found for jdbc://192.168.16.47/sugarcrm
    Stopping the server.

These are specs of the PC I am trying SugarCRM on.
    Sugar Version (4.5.1e)
    Sugar Edition (SugarCRM Open sourcet)
    Category (Install)
    Operating System (Windows XP)
    Database (MySQL 5.0.24)
Web Server (Apache 6.0.14, IIS 6)

Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated. BTW, this is my first job and it has not even been a week since I started, so in essence I am new to this.

Well, i'm not familiar with SugarMini server but I can tell you from experience that your application can't find the JDBC Driver.

Considering the error is JDBC related, my guess is that you don't have the jar file in your classpath.

Another thing that concerns me is that you have IIS & apache on the same box.
Although this is possible, if it's your first job and less than a week fresh, my guess is that you have them both running on port 80.

This could be why you're getting a 404 because IIS or apache is over-riding the other server.

Thanks for the info (sacramentojoe), but I did already sort out the ports. It is still the same story.

    HTTP Status 404 - /sugarmini/server

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    type Status report

    message /sugarmini/server

description The requested resource (/sugarmini/server) is not available.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Apache Tomcat/6.0.14

    Any thoughts?
