Default Switch off certificate check - inbound mail

    Hi There,

Is there a way to switch off the check if a mailserver has a certificate?

I have a problem to connect to the mailserver. I double check credentials, they are allright (Thunderbird can receive mail).

The error message is I get when I open the inbound email settings and test the connecton:

Certificate failure for mail.domain.nl: self signed certificate: /C=XX/ST=XX/L=XX/O=XX/OU=XX/CN=web108.your-webhost.nl/emailAddress=webmaster@web108.isp.nl
    CHeck you settings.

Can we by-pass the certificate check?

    Edwin

Edwin, did you figure this out? I use self-signed cert on my mail server and sugarcrm won't allow it. rather paternal if you ask me. I wonder if I can add the root-ca to the sugarcrm side...
