Syncing with GoogleMail

Hi,

I am looking at ways where when sending an e-mail from GoogleMail we can assign that e-mail to a module in SugarCRM. Does anyone know if this is possible & how I would go about implementing that function. I am using the community edition? Also, any tips for outlook would be appreciated.

Hi, All seems to have installed well but in the DolceGmail Settings I put in my Sugar username & password it asks for Server URL. Is this just the URL I use when logging onto Sugar, I have tried this but I get error message "Server is available, but SugarCRM is not responding"

I'm nearly there, any ideas on what I am missing please? Thaanks.....

Thanks for your help, I have got gmail sync working. Shame you can't add an e-mail to an opportunity

You can attach an email to an opportunity

Simply configure your SugarCRM email client to point to your gmail account and get your gmail emails into sugarcrm.

then click on the email you want to attach to the opportunity and click on "import to sugar". This produces a popup which has a drop down for you to specify where you want to attach the email. Included in the drop down is "Opportunity"
