System Settings page returns a 500 Error

When I click on System Settings in admin it returns a "500 - Internal Server Error" page. Apparently it use to work just fine, but I don't know the details about what happened when it stopped working since it was before my time. Everything else works fine.

This probably is due a php error.
Double check error log of your web server.
I may say it is due memory overflow.
