Tab Configuration 4.2.1: hide tabs broken

Hi,

After moving from 4.2.0d to 4.2.1 all tabs are displayed for all users and cannot be hidden.
When I try to hide Tabs via "Admin / Configure Tabs / Save" nothing happens and all Tabs are found again in the "Display Tabs" list.
The log-file shows no errors or warnings.
What's wrong here and how can I approach this bug?

In my case the decoded value of category "MySettings", name "tab" in table "config" is

  1 => 'iFrames',
  2 => 'Calendar',
  3 => 'Activities',
  4 => 'Contacts',
  5 => 'Accounts',
  6 => 'Leads',
  7 => 'Opportunities',
  8 => 'Cases',

  15 => 'ZuckerReports',
  16 => 'ZuckerFeeds', 
  

Should I delete the unwanted Tabs and encode and save the value manually?
