Tab dropdown - blank lines

Hello! I'm trying to solve an issue with our Sugar where modules that are uninstalled are removed from the navigation tab menu and overflow dropdown, however, they are replaced with a linked blank space or line. I've tried every repair tool and also deleted by hand all instances of files and folders related to the uninstalled module, but no luck. Any thoughts as to where I should be looking next?

Hi SoccerDad

Go to Admin -> Configure Tabs, rearrange the tabs and save.
The issue should disappear.
If don't you can go to phpMyAdmin -> sugar database -> config table.
Erase the field "value" of the record whose category = "MySettings" and name = "tab".
Try again.

Thanx for the tips and my apologies as I didn't mention that I'd looked into this area already. Unfortunately, there is nothing available for me to move, just the tabs that should be there.

Execute this query into sugar database through phpMyAdmin:

UPDATE config SET value = '' WHERE category = 'MySettings' AND name = 'tab'
After that rearrange the tabs into Admin -> Configure Tabs

Hi,

I am having this problem with a 5.2.0h installation.

I have installed a couple of timesheet modules and they are on the tab dropdown list but in very thin strips. I can just about click them but the dropdown layout is clearly not right.

I have tried the suggested SQL code but can't do much more as the timesheet modules are not even listed on the 'configure tabs' page.

Any ideas?
