Target lists not howing in campaigns

I have a vanilla clean install of 5.2e. I've setup a campaign and target lists. When I try to send a test email there are no target lists displayed.

I have no extensions or customised modules, this is a clean full install out of the box. I've already been on the forum and noticed there was a thread with the same problem, but it seems there was no resolution. I followed all the suggestion to the point of downloading several different previous versions (upto 4.5) of Sugarcrm CE. No joy. I have also established the data exists in the databases.

Hello jkiwanuka,

do you have a target list in your campaign where the target list Type = 'Test'. You can only send out test emails to Target lists that are of type Test.

Yes i do have a test target list. I used the default settings for setting up the campaign

I solved it. In order for a target list to show up you must also setup Email Marketting at the bottom and attach an email template. Doh!
