Task Dashlet Dates and Time Issues

mysql 5.0.37

Anyone any pointers

The Task dashlet does not display date and time correctly -
If you select Dates only - due date displays d m y and start date displays y m d
If you select due date and due time the due date displays 01-01-2000
If you display the due time and the finish date the due time is 1 hr behind
The only way the due time displays correctly is if the due date is on there but the due date displays 01-01-2000 if the time is there.

I think this is a bug - does anyone have any ideas
