Tasks start date / end date bug??

Hi

I am using Sugar CE 6.01 and when I tried to edit a task, I get the following message. This seems like a bug. Does anyone knows what could be wrong and how to solve it?

Start Date(13-09-2010 09.00) is not before 15-09-2010 10.30

Not yet

The only thing that works is not putting any start date. Due date is what appears in calendar anyway.

But I still hope that someone has a solution for this.

There is a simple way to bypass this bug.

If you go to admin > studio > tasks >

Edit the field settings for "start_date" (if named so in your installation) and change it to have a preset starting date by today + time 8.00 am

Now that the field is always set by creation of any task - you can add the due date and save.
After that you can edit the start date as you desire.

ok i must correct my last entry - the method posted befor did work out but only for admin.. the reason it worked for admin was that i had different settings for admin and users..

check under user settings > advanced tab > locale settings

change the date format to mm/dd/yyyy
and the time format to 11.00pm

then it works 100% > have fun
