    Wink Team concept, Hide Leads

Hello everyone, iam a bit new to Sugar, but would like to ask a question.

In sugar crm, can we implement the team concept?
I mean, can we make such that, every user belongs to a team ?

Also, a user belonging to a team (ex: sales guys) must not be able to see the Leads of other users. How can we achieve this ?

I would appreciate ur answers. Have a nice day.

Red face Re: Team concept, Hide Leads

Hiding Leads from other users means, a non-admin user cant see the Leads of all the users, he can only see his own Leads. How i can achieve this? Does it require any code modifications, or just it can be done with the interface ?
    Please advice me.

Download module CE Teams (link from another user).
    Install CE Teams module.
    Create Team1, Team2.
    Assign User1 to the Team1.
    Assign User2 and User3 to the Team2.
Create Lead1 and assign him to the Team1 and user from Team1.

Users from Team2 can't see what You have created for Team1.
    Tadaaaaa

Question Re: Team concept, Hide Leads

Hai Spinaker, i have done what you have said.
I have used the CE Teams module and have created 2 teams and users under them.
I created a team Team1 and a user called "t1user" in it. And created a team Team2 and a user called "t2user" in it.
Then i edited a Lead user from the Lead List, and assigned "t1user" to him.

My purpose is to hide the Lead assigned to "t1user" (of Team1) from "t2user" (of Team2).
But when i login with the "t2user" and click on "Leads", i can see the Lead user in the list, for whom i assigned "t1user" of Team1.

How i can achieve this ? I have even tried creating a Lead user by logging with a user of one team and assigned the logged in user to the Lead user.
But when i logged in with a user of other team, i could still see the Lead user who is assigned the former user (user 1).

Shall i need to make any modifications further anywhere, or is it necessary to mingle up with the code ?

If you understood the scenario, please help me.

You have'nt reedin' the manual ya? :P You must firstly go to studio and add field called "Team" to edit view, detail view and list view. Then you must edit your lead and in team field chose default team for t1user.
