Is there any kind of Team management available in the community edition?

I want to allow a group of users to see specific accounts, and not others.

Team management is available just on PRO. With teams you can make secury by record level.
On CE that is just roles where you can define security by module level.

What you can do on sugar CE to have this secury by record level, is extend the list.view.php for your acount module and add a SQL where statment to filter the displayed records. In this where clausule you can take the current user id to compute some restriction.

You can either Go PRO to enjoy the Teams Management and several other amazing features as well, or install some Teams package for CE, like Security Suite or CE Teams.

The most complete Teams module for CE is Security Suite. It costs around $US50 and is available for almost all sugar CE releases after 5.5. Check SugarForge

Any free version of Security Suite(Team Management) available for SugarCRM 6.1.6
